Extreme Weather Brief
Extreme weather worldwide, verified and explained
Extreme Weather Brief is an independent YouTube news channel covering the world's most severe weather and natural disasters as they happen — hurricanes and typhoons, floods, tornadoes, wildfires, winter storms and earthquakes.
How we report
- Every update starts from official sources such as NOAA's National Hurricane Center, the U.S. National Weather Service and the U.S. Geological Survey.
- Every fact is checked against reporting from at least two independent news outlets, and every source is listed in the video description.
- We use real satellite imagery, official forecast maps and openly licensed footage. We never present old footage as new.
Not a warning service
We are not an official warning service. If you are in the path of a storm, follow your local emergency officials and your national weather service.
